You will notice there are many ice bomb blocks on the board, but not many fire bomb blocks. The fire bomb blocks will continue to drop randomly as you make your way down the board.

When the bombs to drop, look to combine them immediately to create bombs.

The board will have a few obstacles further down the board. You will notice there are tree limbs scattered around. If the pets get stuck here, you will need to make matches further down the board so they can move off of these obstacles.
