Level 128 Cheat #1: Use the viruses to free the key

  • The board on level 128 is split into two vertical halves, the left side consisting of locked blocks, a key, and a virus, and the right side consisting of matchable, colored blocks and a row of locked blocks at the bottom. Clearly, your only option to continue is to free the key – but the blocks surrounding it make that quite difficult at first. Instead, make matches on the right side of the board as normal until the virus spreads to make one large group around the key. Burst the viruses as one group, the key will drop, and the locked blocks will vanish from the board.

  • After the first key, you will continue on to a similar situation, although the two sides are reversed. Make matches on the left side until the right side fills up with a sufficient amount of viruses to free the key. Make a large match of viruses, the key will drop and its glass will break, the locked blocks will be cleared from the board, and you will be able to continue on down the board.

  • There is quite a bit of match making on level 128, which means that you will have plenty of opportunity to charge and recharge the column blaster booster to help you out a bit. Whenever the column blaster booster is charged, you should use it as soon as possible; especially at the beginning of the level, when you have plenty more board to recharge it with. When you approach the end of the level, try to predict the column blaster booster charge that will be your last, and save it for the end of the level annoyances such as isolated or unmatchable blocks.
