Level 169 Cheat #1: Use your Rocket Boost wisely

  • Be careful with how you use your Rocket Boost. These can be incredibly useful in this level, and you want to make sure you use them at the right time.
  • Remember, the Rocket Boost is free booster that recharges quickly, so you can use it multiple times to your advantage. The more times you can shoot it off, the better.

    • Level 169 Cheat #2: Work the bottom of the board

  • The more blocks you clear at once, the more points you will be rewarded. Also, clearing lots of blocks will bring your pets down faster and with fewer moves. Look out for the biggest sections of color and take them out.
  • One of the best ways to clear lots of blocks is to work from the bottom of the board. Here is where most of the big combinations are. This will create a lot of space for you and set up future combinations.
  • While working the bottom of the board, make sure to avoid isolating single blocks. You have a lot of pets to collect in this level and you don’t want to waste moves on one individual block. It’s big groups of blocks or nothing.

  • The point goal in this level is relatively low, so your main priority is to free the pets. Once the board shifts down to reveal the pets, adjust your moves accordingly to free the pets in as few moves as possible.
  • Two pets are located above columns of caged blocks. You should try to get these two pets down as soon as you can.
  • Use the balloons to help you open the caged blocks. Line up two blocks besides a caged one and then pop the corresponding balloon to move the caged blocks down.
