There are various boosters in Pet Rescue Saga to help you clear levels. Various boosters become unlocked as you get farther through the game. As you progress to more and more difficult levels, boosters become increasingly valuable. Most boosters can only be purchased with cash. However, the game gives you some freebies after clearing the early levels. It is best not to use these right away and to save them for when you really need them in the later stages. See below for a description of each booster. If you accidentally click a booster and do not actually want to use it, just press the X or back button to cancel it.
Block Buster Booster
The Block Buster Booster looks like a hammer/pickaxe and can clear any single block. This can be used when you need to clear an individual block so other blocks can come together to form removable sections. You receive 3 block buster boosters during the early levels as a freebie. Additional block boosters need to be purchased with money. It is best not to use these during the early levels, which can be easily cleared without any boosters. Save them for when you get to much more difficult levels and are really stuck.
Cost: You can purchase an additional (3) Block Busters for 3,000 coins or 9 Facebook Credits
Column Blaster Booster
The Column Blaster Booster looks like a firework or rocket and clears an entire column of blocks. This booster is very useful for clearing tall towers of single blocks that you cannot combine with other blocks. Using it can also make it easier to combine blocks as the next blocks move into place. Pet Rescue Saga levels often give you free Column Blaster Booster(s), so plan wisely when is best to use this tool. If you can save it for the very end, it can be very helpful for rescuing the last pet or clearing all blocks in a level.
Cost: You can purchase an additional (3) Column Blast Booster for 29 Facebook Credits.
The Line Blaster Booster
The Line Blaster Booster looks like a red spring. It is like the Column Blaster Blocker except instead of clearing columns, it will clear an entire row. It is also sometimes given in levels for free to help you reach the goal. Like the Column Blaster, a useful tip is to save it for when you really need it to clear obstacles or reposition new groups of blocks. It can really come in handy when you reach levels with solid steel blocks.
Cost: You can purchase an additional (3) Line Blaster Boosters for 19 Facebook Credits.
Color Pop Booster
Color Pop Boosters look like balloons. Clicking them will destroy blocks of the same color as the balloon. This can be very powerful to reposition several block sections at once. However, be careful when using them because they may also move other blocks farther away from one another, forming individual stragglers. Like Line/Column Blaster Boosters, these sometimes appear in certain Pet Rescue Saga levels. In levels where they do not appear, they need to be purchased from the shop to be used. Keep in mind that clearing Color Pop Boosters will not give you nearly as many points as popping blocks the normal way. If you need a higher score and have a large group of blocks, you may not want to use the color pop booster on that color.
Cost: You can purchase an additional (3) Color Pop Boosters for 19 Facebook Credits.
The Mesh Masher Booster
The Mesh Masher Booster looks like wire clippers and will remove all visible cages in a level, turning caged blocks into normal blocks. This is super useful in stages with many caged boxes and few available moves. You get 3 free Mesh Masher Boosters from the game, but extra Mesh Masher Boosters will cost money.
Cost: You can purchase an additional (3) Mesh Masher Boosters for 29 Facebook Credits.
The Key Booster
The Key Booster looks like a key and is used to remove locked stone blocks. When activated, the stones become unlocked and disappear.
